Ron Schmid, ND, founder of Dr. Ron's Ultra-Pure

Ron Schmid, ND, is the founder and owner of Dr. Ron’s Ultra-Pure. He formulates and selects the ingredients for all Dr. Ron’s Ultra-Pure products.

Dr. Ron is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. He has practiced naturopathic medicine since 1981. Dr. Ron served for two years as Chief Medical Officer and Clinic Director at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Ron is also the author Traditional Foods Are Your Best Medicine and The Untold Story of Milk. He is on the honorary board of the Weston A. Price Foundation and has written for Wise Traditions, the quarterly journal of the Foundation.
