with 90% delta- and 10 % gamma-tocotrienol
Tocotrienols have been
reported to have superior antioxidant and anti-thrombotic
activity. Derived from annatto from the achiote trees
of tropical regions of the Americas, tocotrienols
work together in the human body with tocopherols (vitamin
E).
But tocotrienols and tocopherols should
not be combined together in a supplement and taken
together because tocopherols hinder the assimilation
of tocotrienols. Rather, take them separately. For
example, the tocopherol vitamin E could be taken in
the morning and tocotrienol in the evening.
Each gelatin capsule contains 125 mg
tocotrienols.
