Visits
and Phone Consultations
Our offices are on our
farm, Grassfed Farm, in Watertown, Connecticut. People
of all ages come to us for help with a wide variety of
problems. I provide phone consultations for those who live
too far to visit the office.
During
the 20 years that I’ve been a naturopathic physician
and practitioner of alternative medicine, many people have
visited my office for help with a wide variety of problems,
including heart disease, prostate
cancer, breast cancer
and many other types of cancer, arthritis, Lyme disease,
colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (disease) (IBS or IBD),
diabetes, psoriasis, eczema, allergies, multiple sclerosis
(MS), lupus, Parkinson’s disease, premenstrual
or menopause problems, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism
and
chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), among others. Many
others who live too far to visit our Watertown, Connecticut
location
consult with me by phone.
During your first consultation I’ll learn about
your medical history and current concerns. The details
enable me to make the best recommendations for your unique
situation. We’ll discuss the most appropriate tests
for you and then together we will begin the process of
creating a personal dietary plan that is enjoyable and
effective. I’ll recommend supplemental nutrients
and herbs to complement that plan.
I utilize the dietary principles
elucidated by Dr. Weston A. Price. See Nutrition
and Weston A. Price for more information on Dr. Price’s studies
of traditional and primitive nutrition. While many people
know of Dr. Price and may even have studied his work, I’ve
found that very few people have been able to utilize those
principles to solve their medical problems. The details
are critical, as is experience and familiarity with a wide
variety of clinical problems. The use of carefully selected
nutritional supplements and herbal medicines can play a
vital role. My experience and my understanding of Weston
Price’s work enable me to help most of the people
who consult with me, whether by telephone or in my office.
